Mike Napoli signs for $5M more per season than Chris Carter signed for. Napoli, L3Y--.343/.435 Carter, L3Y---.313/.477 TEX overpaid, and NYY got a bargain. That's without even taking into consideration that Chris can play LF/RF if needed, and Napoli cannot (though I see he did put in 50 innings in LF in '15).
