Always really liked Jumbo Diaz, but the truth is, he's 33 and despite electric stuff, has always just been a generic guy. That said, he throws 96+ consistently. That's a nice starting point. And, as a guy with a good K/BB ratio, good K/9 ratio, and decent HR/9 ratio...and a proven ground ball pitcher; he does have the qualities Stearns likes.
